2011 College World Series

2011 Baseball's College World Series
Omaha, Nebraska
June 18-28/29

It's that time of year again......buying peanuts, popcorn, hot dogs and cracker jacks.......and coming to Omaha, Nebraska for the NCAA College World series.

What is the College World Series you ask?  Wikipedia defines it this way:

"The College World Series or CWS is an annual baseball tournament held in Omaha, Nebraska that is the culmination of the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, which determines the NCAA Division I college baseball champion. The eight teams are split into two, four-team, double-elimination brackets, with the winner of each bracket playing in the best-of-three championship series. The tournament takes place in June of each year.

Since 1950, the College World Series (CWS) has been held in OmahaNebraska. It was held at Rosenblatt Stadium from 1950 through 2010; starting in 2011, it will be held at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. Earlier tournaments were held at Hyames Field in KalamazooMichigan (1947–48) and WichitaKansas (1949). The name "College World Series" (CWS) is derived from that of the Major League Baseball World Series championship; it is currently an MLB trademark licensed to the NCAA.[1]"

It's a fabulous time of year to visit Omaha.  The weather is beautiful and people are so friendly.  From the new TD Ameritrade Ballpark, you are walking distance to several hotels, restaurants & shopping.  You'll love strolling through the Old Market and roaming through the many shops.  Horse drawn carriage rides are available and you'll find live music on almost every corner.

So come to Omaha and be a part of history - the first ever College World Series at the new TD Ameritrade Ballpark.  And while you're here, take in our beautiful city of Omaha.  You might just decide to stay.  And if you do, give me a call.  I'll help you find YOUR Husker Dream Home!
